The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality’s (DEQ) online water and wastewater operator search service allows users to access contact information for and view the status of water and wastewater operator license holders across the state. "We're offering this new service as a convenience to our licensees, as well as the citizens of Oklahoma, to assist them with locating and verifying water and wastewater operator’s information," said Chris Wisniewski, Environmental Programs Manager for DEQ. The online service, located at http://www.ok.gov/deq/search/, is a fast and easy way for license holders to view the status of their license and make corrections if needed. The system is provided at no cost and was designed with clear, user-friendly navigation. The system allows users to search for a specific water or wastewater operator by name, license number, license type, class, county of residence, employer name, and employer county. The license information is updated weekly to ensure that users are receiving the most current information. The online service is a product of a partnership between DEQ and OK.gov, Oklahoma’s official Web site managed by the eGovernment firm NIC (NASDAQ: EGOV).
