On the following pages you will find information on Continuing Education available to Full-Time and Reserve Peace Officers.  In some cases the courses are also available for Private Security Guards and Private Investigators - confirm availability before enrolling.  Effective January 1, 2008 every full-time, certified peace officer must complete a minimum of twenty-five (25) hours of CLEET accredited continuing law enforcement training, which shall include a mandatory two (2) hours on mental health issues, each calendar year.

Online Training

CLEET hosts some online continuing education training courses, free of charge to qualifying individuals.

On or about 01 February, 2013, CLEET will no longer provide the on-line training courses.

We also advertise classroom based courses presented by CLEET as well as Police Departments, Sheriff Offices, and State Agencies.

Continuing Education Course Accreditation

For qualifying entities, CLEET has a process for obtaining Accreditation for Continuing Education Courses.
