The Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance helped Ponca City based Cookshack trim the fat from their electric smoker oven manufacturing business.
The company worked with manufacturing extension agent Doug Taylor to streamline operations through the Lean Manufacturing program. This process helps manufacturers reduce both wasted time and energy and operate more efficiently.
The Alliance is now working with Cookshack to bring new manufacturing jobs to the state by connecting them to other Oklahoma manufacturers to purchase parts.
