HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE / REVIEW
The State Board of Podiatry was renamed in H.B. 1190 as the Oklahoma State Board of Podiatric
Medical Examiners. The bill also re-created the Board to continue until July 1, 1999, in accordance
with the provisions of the Oklahoma Sunset Laws.
The Board does not receive any appropriated funds. All fees, renewal fees, and penalties are
deposited into the Podiatric Revolving Fund and 10% of these collections is paid to the General
Revenue Fund.
