Released in March, 2011, Ari Hest?s most recent album wasn?t just an album, it was a project. Launched in 2008, 52 was a web-based subscription service that found him writing, recording and releasing a new song every Monday for an entire year. At the end of the year, the subscribers were asked to vote for the twelve favorite songs from the project. The ones chosen are the tracks that comprise his album Twelve Mondays. Throughout the project, Hest explored new genres and experimented with different instrumentation. This concert is one of the Winter Wind concert series.
