Denton-based trio, Fatty Lumpkin has quickly climbed the ranks in the Midwest music scene over the past year. The band has shared the stage with many other talented groups such as EOTO, Family Groove Company and many others from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. They have also played at festivals such as Wakarusa and River Jam. Recently, Fatty Lumpkin released a self-titled LP which included three songs that was featured in the 2010 film, Forgetting the Girl. The band is known for incorporation genres such as funk, rock and hip-hop into their songs, creating their own unique style.
