Possessing a sweet and soothing voice and a steady guitar-picking hand, Susan Herndon is a gifted songwriter who also plays the piano and accordian. This trailblazer simply considers herself an existentialist--drawing from life experience and observations in her writing. Born in St. Louis but raised in Oklahoma, Herndon eventually moved to France where she began busking in the streets. She then began playing regular gigs with a group of fellow vagabonds before moving back to the Tulsa area. Herndon has performed everywhere from Okemnukov, Ukraine to Okemah, Oklahoma, and on Tennessee, New Mexico, and Florida. Susan Herndon is best experienced live. On stage, she maintains a commitment to comaraderie and fun through the beauty and mystery of song. Rick Reiley, Gene Collier, and Joe Baxter will also perform.
