Just for kids and just in time for the holidays, the Circle Cinema's KidsFirst! Film Festival features two animated movies, The Littlest Angel and Babar and Father Christmas. The Littlest angel is based on Charles Tazewell's classic book, which tells tells the story of a young boy who arrives in heaven before his time. Home-sick and lonely, he will travel back to earth, with his friendly pup Halo, to retrieve a most selfless and precious gift for The Baby Jesus. In Babar and Father Christmas, Babar?s children have caught wind of a fellow in Man?s country named Father Christmas who brings joy and toys to little children. ?If only we could bring him here,? they wish. So they write the Christmas saint a letter inviting him to visit them. When they get no reply, Babar, ever the good father, rushes out to find the red-suited one. After much searching, and with the help of a dog named Duck, Babar reaches Father Christmas?s workshop in the snow. The question becomes can Babar find a way to bring Father Christmas to Elephants? country?
