Hailing from Tulsa and inspired by musicians such as Bob Wills, Eric Clapton and Joe Cocker, the Paul Benjamin Band infuses a music mix of rock, funk, and western swing. Recent appearances at music festivals such as Wakarusa and South by Southwest have helped propel The Paul Benjamin Band into a more mainstream arena. So now the Oklahoma quartet can get any barroom or festival hoppin' with their nods to classic rock, oakie reggae, wailin' slidework and Charlie Parker-goes-country licks in the band's successful efforts to continue to redefine the Tulsa Sound.
